What cancellation fees will we have to pay if we cancel after 3 months?

We would like to cancel our service after just 3 months. We had never had always had cable service but it is currently not offered in our area. We are not happy with all aspects of Direct TV. What cancellation fees will we have to pay?

You'll need to contact DirecTV to find out exactly what it will cost to terminate your contract. Typically it's $20 for each month remaining. If you have a two year contract and cancel after just three months, you might owe as much as $240 - $60 = $180. You'll need to call anyway to actually cancel.

Your math was for a 12 month agreement, not 24 months. The correct ECF would be $420 for 21 months left.
