Why aren't there additional covid discounts?
Most corporations are giving discounts during these trying times. I realize that AT&T has agreed to not terminate services.
For some people TV is the only bridge to the outside world.
I'm just amazed that when the entire country is mandated to stay home that AT&T wouldn't off some kind of discount during said isolation.
When everyone goes back to work, slapping them with three months worth of bills will be devastating.

AT&T's pledge of not terminating services does not extend to DirecTV. Basic phone and internet are considered essential services (communication, emergency services, job search, etc.), but pay TV is still a luxury entertainment service.
https://about.att.com/pages/COVID-19.html
Notice that does not list TV services of any type (DirecTV, AT&T TV NOW, U-Verse)
Because too many people before Covid-19 were operating at a loss with too many discounts, their CEO announced that discounts would be pulled back. Comes down to they cannot afford to give out discounts left and right on a entertainment service, regardless of the pandemic.
Would it be nice if they gave discounts, sure. Should it be expected? The answer is no. It is an entertainment service to make a profit. If it is hard for your budget then reduce services accordingly and then raise it back up when comfortable again.
