Adding a second DVR to my Whole Home

I have a DVR in my Living room and would add the second one to my basement.

multiple Questins:

#1. If I add a second DVR to my whole home, when I go to record a show, will I be prompted on which DVR to record to?

#2. Is there an option to record to both dvr's?

#3. if no option to record to both DVR's, is there a way to copy a show from one DVR to another?

The reason I ask is because i have 2 girls who both have a HD receiver in thier room. Being that only one of them can watch a recorded show at a time (currently), I would like for both of them to be able to watch the same movie from the DVR.

So i am guessing I would have to record the show on BOTH DVR's so they can both watch the same movie (just off different DVR's).

#4. once the show is recorded on each DVR does the show appear twice on my LIST VIEW?

#5.  is there an indication of which DVR recorded it?

1. not from the HDDVR, but yes from the HD receiver

2. not from the HDDVR, but yes from the HD receiver (note that you have to do this twice) once for every HDDVR

3. No

4. Yes

5. the name that was given to each HDDVR appears as part of the title description. so the description starts something like this [LIVING ROOM] The Smurfs...........................(insert description here)

A suggestion? Move one of the DVR's to one of the girl's rooms. Or, if you purchase an additional DVR put it in a girl's room.  Then they can both watch whatever they like from the DVR at any time, including the same movie at the same time. They could also both schedule recordings independently.

That is a good idea. Both girls have a h25 double taped to the back of their wall mounted flat panels. Not sure if a DVR would stick because of size.

I will have to check models and physical size
