Can I connect Spectrum internet to a home that's only had DirectTV without needing additional wiring?

I am moving into a home that used DirectTV for television by its previous owners. I don't need cable, but do need wifi for work at the home. Unfortunately, DirectTV doesn't offer internet service at the address, so I'm going to be using Spectrum. Because of Covid-19, professional installation is not available, so they'll be sending me a self-instal kit. Will it be possible for me to connect Spectrum internet to a home that A. hasn't ever had internet before AND B. has only had DirectTV as a cable source? The only wires that are coming with the self-instal kit is a coax cable and a power cable for the router, so I'm just not sure if that's going to be enough without any previous internet installed in the house, or if I'll need some sort of additional external wiring installed by a professional (whenever that service is available again).

Sadly, I've tried. The only people they'll connect me with right now is their sales team and, unfortunately, they don't know the answer.

not sure it would be an issue but you would have to have knowledge of cable, but at&t or directv can assist you with a competing service install request

DTV doesn't offer any internet it is only a TV provider.

Spectrum will have to install a coax from the pole/vault to the Gateway/modem in the house but should be able to reuse the DTV coax once it reachs the house if needed.

@shannon02 Ahhh that's what I was worried about. The house was built well before internet was a thing, and was only owned by one family (2 generations) who never had internet installed. We are trying to move into the home ASAP because of COVID, but can't do so without internet since we are still working from home. Professional internet installation isn't available through any companies at the moment, so we're kind of in limbo and can only do so much with self-installation. Thank you so much for the help!

As a note if you ever do get DirecTV: The different service providers (internet and TV) will not use the same coax setup. Even if the coax is compatible for both, they cannot be on the same lines otherwise interference would be a problem.
