Dark picture

I have a brand new RCA tv

That I am having problems seeing channel 4 and channel 2 young and the restless and general hospital WHY? Is this happening

Have you tried the TV brightness control? DTV receivers only output a signal it is up to the TV to display it.

We have the brightness setting on as bright as it will go! And it’s weird that only channel 2 &4 are so dark

What model DirecTV box?

How is it connected to the TV?

Is this the same way it was connected to the old TV?

Did you change anything else when you replaced the TV?

Have you verified the cords are secure on both ends between DirecTV and the TV?

DirecTV box set to correct resolution for the TV and connection type?

Have you tried a red button reset or even unplugging power for at least 20 seconds?

Thank you! Wow! I can honestly say I haven’t done or considered all the things on your list but I’m up for the challenge lol

It’s my 86 ye old moms tv and well she can be relentless on getting this problem resolved! :0)
