DIRECTV Slimline satellite dish available

I recently bought a home that has a DIRECTV Slimline satellite dish attached to it. I am not using the dish and wish to provide it to someone who can use it. How best to do that?

The dish upon installation becomes property of the homeowner. Do with it what you want. If you choose to remove it, leave the mounting plate to prevent leaks.

If it is a slimline SWM dish then it is current and someone else could use it. Older dishes, commonly the 18" round, are not usable as they are for the outdated MPEG-2 feeds which are in the process of completely shutting down.

A new dish is part of a new install why would anyone want a dirty bird stained dish?
