Disk Space Warning

I have been getting the Disk Space Warning on my Direct TV for the last week. It says that the receiver has less than 5 hours of available disk space. Once full additional recordings will not be possible until disk space is made. I have deleted way more than 5 hours of recordings and am still getting it and it will not record anything else. Is it possible to buy more space and if not how many hours of recordings do I need to delete since I have deleted at least 5 hours worth. I am so mad I'm tempted to go back to Dish since there is no baseball now anyway!

no you have a physical hard drive the same as your computer when it’s full it’s full and not much you can do other than delete more content

@Constructive Thank you! Not the answer I wanted but what I figured. It's really aggravating!! My 87 year old mother likes to keep her old sitcoms to watch over and over since it's the only entertainment that she has.
