ESPN does not work in the afternoon

This might sound strange but ESPN2 HD keeps searching for signal in the afternoon, no picture at all. The dish is located on my roof, I noticed it works fine once the dish comes back in the shade around 5:30pm. I am located in Irving, TX.
I called DIRECTV support in the past and they took me through all the regular checks and were unable to help, their final answer was the Dish is probably misaligned and a tech needs to come out to look at it.

I don't think this is an alignment issue or a reciever issue at all since that channel works pefectly fine once the dish is in the shade.
Has anyone come across this issue or it's just me?
