What is the model of the receiver? Just to be sure if returnable or not.

I need to get a return label for a receiver to send back through fedex.

Well we switched carriers and just need to send receiver back or get charged $150 and I have called 3 times and been told they would send or email me a return label... its never happened. Frustrated!

DirecTV does not send a label or email to use as one for return. They have you take the box to a participating shipping location for the free return as mentioned.
What model is that receiver?

Return to the store- AT&T is notorious for sending wrong labels and "losing" phones

This has nothing to do with phones. An AT&T store cannot help him return a DIRECTV receiver.

The UPS Store in my town is closed and we do not have a FedEx Office, either. There was no USPS shipping label included with my new equipment, so I am delayed in getting it returned to you. I do not have the money to pay for the shipping by taking it to the post office without a return label, so how can I get a label from you to return it at no charge?

Look under the shipping label as sometimes the return label is there. What are the model numbers?
