Great. I have spent hours on the phone with them waiting for an answer and almost every question I ask they have to put me on hold. Simply want a replacement receiver to replace dead one. Worst customer support I have ever seen.

They are very short staffed because of Covid-19. Many call centers are closed (temporarily). So this is not the normal experience.

However, if your receiver is dead than a warranty replacement should just be a simple process. Order it for warranty, $19.95 delivery (or covered if you have the optional Equipment Protection Plan. Usually get within 3 to 5 shipping days, but I would expect a bit longer these days.

If they have not ordered the replacement to begin with, I wonder if there is a further concern with the equipment. What is the model of the "dead" box, and what are your others?

I ordered it, but could not be delivered because of incomplete address. So another one was ordered. Later, the first one showed up, but could not be activated because because card ID on my account was for the second one. Second one sitting on a dock in Rialto, California for a week now. I have spent hours on the phone trying to sort this out.

Ouch, that is quite the situation. With a replacement the system should automatically use the physical service address, so guessing the apt, suite, or other such info was missing. But to get that fixed, and then they send out replacement for wrong box. At least in the old system they had a manual way to replace the correct one if that happened.

You say now it is sitting on a dock in California? As in it halted in shipment? Wonder if that is an issue with the shipper, not only in delays but with permissions crossing state borders at the moment. Hope it gets sorted out as 3 times an issue for a simple replacement is kinda beating the odds.

Juniper, the tracking number simply indicates that a shipping label was created in Rialto, California a week ago today. Result...shipment pending. And what was missing on the first one was the space number in my RV park. However the space number is listed in my account details and I verified it with the DirecTV person several times.

They have no email contact and their chat and phone support don’t seem to know what they are talking about.

Thank you for including in your programming One American News and News Max the only (Edited per community guidelines) news left.   We really appreciate it.  Please don't give into CNN and the other fake news stations that want you to drop us. It has been well documented that they don't ever tell the truth. Thank you

This is a public forum. You have given your personal info to the entire world so be prepared for an increase in scam and telemarketer calls.

Also this thread from almost a year ago was regarding status on a shipped receiver. Best to post in a recent relevant thread, or start a new one. Though there are recent threads for your topic.
