How do I get Direct TV to replace a defective DVR?

Anyone have any suggestions.DVR freezes, Goes through blue screen messages, and tries to reset and check for errors over and over when it finally resets it is back to its normal crap and cant watch TV. I know the problem is the DVR (disk) is shot but can't get ahold of anyone at DTV or ATT to get a new box.
