How to change to new wireless network

I currently have my DirecTV receiver connected to a wireless network. I have now added a second network in the house and need to move the DirecTV over to it. I can't seem to find any way to change the network SSID it connects to - I go to Settings and Help, Settings, Internet Setup, and the only action I see is "reconnect" which when I take it, just says congratulations you are connected. Can someone help me figure out where I go to change the network name it tries to connect to?

In internet setup go into advanced where you can reset the network defaults. Once done then you setup the new wireless connection.

@Juniper OK, so I did that and now on the main menu it shows as not connected so that’s progress. now I see a Reconnect option which I pick, then I pick Reconnect Now, then it asks if my internet is working , then it asks if I have a CCW (yes), then I pick Configure Wireless to update my settings, then it asks me to reset my CCW, then it does a 90 second reset and returns the message”Your device was not found on the network. Try to reset it again.” which i have done a couple times now. i don’t know why it won’t simply let me pick a new network. if you have any further ideas, definitely am interested - thanks .

What model is your DirecTV box?

Do you have an external CCK on the setup?

I decided to reset my actual DirecTV receiver, and either it was coincidence or that did the trick, but in either case now it works like you would think - I was able to pick my new network. so all good now. thanks for the help, would not have known to try the reset network defaults!

Glad it is working. Anytime you get a new router, or the SSID and/or password changes, you need to reset defaults as that is the only way for it to forget the old information. Sounds like it didn't want to let it go so a reset of the receiver cleared the last thing. Good to go now.
