So he/she called DTV and proved to the CSR that he/she was the owner of the account and removed it then changed it? That is what you have to do to remove it.
@shannon2, that's only for the account password which is different than a receiver parental control pw which can be done by ANYONE in the home as long as they know the password. Parental control passwords can be very different than the account password.

The only way to reset a parental control password is to call customer service if and when you get through make sure you give them the correct receiver id if you have multiple receivers since parental controls are individual per receiver. Wait times are extremely long right now 1-800-531-5000
