MRV w/ SWiM

I have a SWiM set up and 1 HR22 and 2 R22's. I have a secondary R22 networked. I know that since I have one receiver hooked up to the internet, with the SWiM it will do callbacks for all three receivers. My question is will MRV work the same way? Since I have one receiver networked will it transfer that to all three like it does for callbacks with the SWiM?

No, all of the receivers need to be connected to the network via the Ethernet ports for MRV. MRV will not work over SWM alone until the DECA modules become available to allow networking over the satellite cables.

spcash50, Directv is specifically advising folks such as yourself to not spend any money on your network at this time. Once the feature is mainstreamed, you'll be able to get those DVR's networked with a minimum of effort. If you want to just try the feature you could buy a cheap Cat5 cable and snake if from one DVR to your router, that's assuming the R22 is networked via Cat5 as well.

I have one networked via Cat5. I would have to network the other two with powerline adapters and had decided if that was the case to skip it for now. I'll just wait until the DECA is released. Thanks.

Save your money on the PowerLine Adapters.
In my cofig, I have a HR22 behind a NetGear PowerLine module and my HR20 can't see it.

I'm just going to wait till DECA is available and install that.
In the mean time I can occupy myself upgrading to SWM. 🙂

Cheers!
