My channels don't work

I recently paid my bill but it's still asking me to pay my bill on my TV I can't watch anything

Customer service is horrible I don't remember my 4 digit PIN to access my account so they won't tell me anything

Call DirecTV, not the AT&T side, to discuss status of your DirecTV account. First thing to do though is log into your DirecTV account online and check the status. If payment shows posted, and for balance in full, then www.directv.com/refresh to refresh the service authorizations so the box(es) recognize the update.

If payment doesn't show on the account, well how was it made? If over the phone or on the official website, it normally posts within moments but can take up to 2 hours. However, if you paid through another method such as MoneyGram, a physical payment center, even a combined bill with another provider (i.e. CenturyLink) it can take up to 3 business days for it to post on DirecTV's side.

As for forgetting your security PIN for AT&T, they will most likely refer you to an AT&T store to prove identity so you can reset it. That is not horrible customer service. After all if they gave personal info of your account to someone without your PIN, then that actually would be horrible.
