Need to dispose of an old dish tv satellite
This dish satellite has been here since we bought the house. I think the previous owner tried to remove it but its connected to the telephone pole. I am also unsure how to remove it or how to dispose of it. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

You mean the actual pole that carries electricity to your house?
If the pole is "yours" you can do what you want, but it is unusual that this is not the utilities property (not to mention dangerous)

The dish is metal so can be taken to a metal recycling center but the LNB needs to be taken to an E-waste center.

AFAIK DTV would never install a dish on a utility pole.

Some installers have used utility poles in the past. Not saying it was right, only that it has been done before.
