New HD On-Screen Guide?

When can I expect the new HD On-Screen Guide to be downloaded?

I have 2 HD-DVR's and 2 HD receivers.

Thanks.

Employees and people in the Las Vegas DMA so far, as far as I can see. I suspect that when the next phase of rollout starts up it will be with a new national release, incorporating the experience of the roll-out so far.

I'd say that's good advice most any time.

I have been a long term, ten years, and have generally been satisfied with Direct TV.  However, my HD DVR has been upgraded with the new guide that scrolles faster, it does, but all the other options have really slowed down as to make them not acceptable. The remote selections such as: Guide, Exit, Favorites take at least 5-8 seconds before anything happens leading to make me wonder if the button did not get pushed properly.

I am not happy and would like to go back to the earlier firmware that worked fine, although not as pretty, but it did FUNCTION better.
Is this possible?   Also, how do I tell when my latest two year subscription ends?  Just in case this continues to render me unhappy.

Not possible to roll back.  But it give a few days to settle down.  There are a lot of background tasks during the first few days after the software updates.

Call DirecTV and ask when your contract term ends.  We're not employees.

I actually like the new UI.  But, there are those that don't.  I did a bit of calculating last night and I estimate that I spend about 7/10 of one percent of my Directv time on the UI and 99 3/10 percent of the Directv time watching programs.  They didn't change the programming as far as I can see so not sure why some get so worked up about this.

One thing's for sure, it wouldn't make much sense changing providers so as to get a pretty color UI and a lesser quality TV experience.
