Recording Formula 1

I have the DVR set  to automatically record all Formula 1 (F1) showings; practice, qualifying and races on Speed TV. Unfortunately the last few minutes of the shows have not been recorded. This just happened last night with the Japanese Grand Prix qualifying session and has happened before as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Set the programs to end 30 minutes late.  That will catch the end assuming the satellite feed doesn't switch to the next program.  If that occurs, not much you can do about that.

I also record the F1. I have been doing it for the last 3 years. My experience says that if you don't want to miss anything is has to be setup for one more hour. There had been races of 3.5 hours because rain delay.

Good point.  I use one hour for all football games as well.  Of course if it rains a lot, who knows how long it might run over.
