Rescheduling of Directv instalation by THEM and not being notified.
Has anyone ordered new Directv installation and had THEM rescedule appointment without notifying you. I did. They rescheduled 3 times. VERY VERY furiating, frustrating, blood pressure raising.

Not normally common, but others have reported it has happened. Might be an issue currently as with all the stay at home orders makes it hard to have enough techs to go around. But they should at least notify if something happens to reschedule.
Since this has happened not once, but 3 times, call DirecTV and submit a complaint on the appointment. Just be prepared for the long hold times as they are short staffed from Covid-19.

Tell me about it... Same here.. I've been waiting three weeks and there is NOBODY turning up to the booked installation times in the AT&T system... When I call Customer support - all they can do is rebook in the next available slot. (weeks away).. No explanation! If they can't do the install - then at least admit to it, don't keep telling us someone is coming - then miss the appointment.. this reminds me of the poor customer service that XFINITY/COMCAST used to have.

After the 4th appointment that THEY failed to keep (the representative I spoke to after thretning to cancel, he guaranteed me that it would happen the next day). I called again and followed thru with cancellation. Then I called Dish and they said they could install the next day. I was skeptical, but they actually showed up and I had TV by DISH up and running by 12:30pm that day. WhooWhoo. Amazing. Very disappointed at how they can treat customers that way, horribal.
