Setting up multi-room with SWM

I had a SWiM dish setup after moving and now have HR-23 & HR-20 DVRs setup to use SWiM. Is it possible for me to setup MRV even though I'm not in a pilot city (I'm in Atlanta). I also have a HR-20 receiver as well.

What would I need to do to network my receivers? Do I need to wait for additional equipment from Directv or just a software rollout?

See the sticky post at the top of this forum. Your HD DVRs should already have the necessary software to enable the MRV beta. You just need to connect them to your home network. Or wait for the DECA networking upgrades to roll out to Atlanta.

Is there a way to request the DECA equipment from DTV since I have the software? It will be a hassle to network 2 of the receivers (one of the DVR's is hardwired into my DSL router) especially when the DECA equipment will eliminate the need for it.

Currently DECA can only be ordered in the following cities: Columbia-Jefferson City, Missouri; Denver, Colorado; Fresno-Visalia, California; Portland, Oregon. Everyone has or will soon have the software, but until DECA is available in your city, you must use your own network setup. However, DirecTV strongly suggests you wait for DECA if your receivers are not currently networked.
