short cable cord

I recently had a problem with my TV channels and had a Tech come out to get it fixed. Well today I wanted to move my TV to a different place and when I went to pull out more cable it was too short. When the tech came out to fix my problem he left about 8 feet of cable laying out in my yard, I guess that explains why now I am now not able to move around my TV. Is there a way I can get more cable added to what I currently have? Please HELP!!

Radio shack sells little gold colored connecters that are female on both ends. Buy one of these and a cable that gives you the length that you need.

Those screw-on connectors at Radio Shack aren't very good. Best to get a RG6 cable of appropriate length, and if necessary a F-connector coupler.  Monoprice is a good place for pre-made cables of various length:
