Tailgating Setup
I'm sure this has been covered in other threads but what I've read it appears that most threads have different solutions.
I live outside Washington, DC (zip code 22031).
I have whole room DVR
I have 1 HD receiver (H24-200) and 1 HD-DVR receiver (HR24-100).
I plan on tailgating in Clemson, SC (zip code 29631). I would like to setup DirecTV at my tailgate. It has many many years since I've set one up. In fact the last time was with a single LNB dish and a tube (non-HDTV).
I will take the H24-200 receiver to Clemson.
My questions are what channels would I be able to get if I used a single LNB dish and the H24-200 receiver. Would I have to do any specific configuration change on my receiver if changing to a single LNB dish?
If I wanted to get HD channels would I be able to get them in Clemson. What would be the best dish to setup to get the HD channels?
Due to the distance from Washington, DC is there any chance of getting any network stations (NBC, CBS, FOX). It necessarily doesn't have to be the local channels from Washington or Clemson.
Looking for some guidance on what I would need as I have an inverter and a deep cell marine battery and a 32" HDTV that I will be taking.

I am trying to do a similar install but when I go to the setup menu, I am not getting any options to repeat satellite setup. After I select setup, I go right to the signal strength screen. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Best to start your own new thread using the "Create New Post" button on the main forum page. Your problem may very well be different from the original poster's. With a new thread you can provide more information about your equipment, location, and troubleshooting you've tried so far. And this forum software makes it difficult to track or respond to folks that add onto someone else's thread.

I wanted to thank everyone for the help. I used the VU Cube with the H24-200 receiver and was able to successfully get the expected DirecTV channels. The instructions provided on how to configure the receiver was spot on.
This thread can be closed. Thanks again for all of the help.

I purchased a trible lnb dish. Was trying to set it up today. the elevation for 10310 is 31 degrees. Why does it appear to be pointing to the ground when I se it to 31 degrees. What did I forget to do? The mounting bar is on a 90 degree angle. I had my old triple on a tripod and I remember it didnt have to be exactly plumb and level like the 5 lnb.

In case you feel they need to ask:
Yes, I did change the setting to Oval
Yes, I did remove the BBC
I use the same Receiver in my home where I have a 5 lnb ka/ku installed.
