Tivo coming to SF Bay Area ?

no one here can tell you when the TIVO HDDVR's will be coming out as DirecTV never releases this type of information.  One thing is for sure, they won't support WHDVR

According to the web site, the following markets will have the DirecTiVo HDDVR available on December 8th

Chicago IL
Denver CO
Los Angeles CA
New York NY
Philadelphia PA
Phoenix AZ
Sacramento CA
San Francisco CA
Seattle WA
Washington DC

The TiVo® HD DVR will carry a $5 per month TiVo service fee, which is in addition to the $10 per month HD Access fee and the $7 per month DVR service fee.

And the box will NOT support WHDVR.

yep, right after I posted this, I saw that DirecTV had made this info public.

You will also be able to get them from authorized dealers starting Dec 8, such Solid Signal and Value Electronics.
