What Has Happened To the AT&T Message Board Forums, Interface Needs Reform
@ATTTimCS
1. This system is messed up, I see a thread with over 50 responses, multiple pages, two new posts in the past two hours, I go to the last page of the thread and the posts are from over a month ago, where are the new posts or comments as they are now called, buried somewhere but difficult to find.
Can the moderators that run this board develop a more cohesive system, or was this designed by AT&T to frustrate subscribers efforts to get issues solved and have ATT/Directv address our concerns.
Update: It seems that the new comments might be on the first page, attached to the original post or the original ATT response, I don't know and I'm unsure if they always appear on the first page, seriously this board is designed to bury information, not make it easily followed.
Honestly, did ATT get upset over the infamous Attrocious Disaster (spelled wrong) thread with its 500,000 views and responses in the thousands, I think they eliminated the ability to have a long running thread of complaints where you could easily find the new posts or comments, maybe an ATT/Directv complaint Twitter page needs to be started.
Update:
OK, I just posted this question/thread, where is it, not appearing in the main drop down list, so new threads, how do I find them, I see another thread created at 11am complaining about the new forum interface, where is it, I could only find it by searching for the keyword forum and then clicking latest results.
So is it that we have no ability to see what the latest issues and problems are, how can we if we can't immediately see new threads/questions posted. Thanks for your time and help.
Update II: It now appears the new questions/threads are appearing at the top of the list but the other problems are still an issue. Also that epic Attrocious Disaster has been broken apart, now all I see is individual posts floating everywhere.

I agree that date/time stamp is not communicating with how recent (updated) the reply is. It will say updated "yesterday" or "54 minutes ago" and the post is from several months ago, or older.
I also miss a latest topic section if you just wanted to review more current threads in general instead of having to browse each category individually.
And it appears the thread design may be more mobile friendly, but makes it a bit condesne or small on a full computer screen.
Perhaps they should have waited for after the holidays to launch the new interface so that they could have people actively working on any intial bugs or improvements instead of too many off on vacation. Just my thoughts.

The new Forum software is a disaster. We ACEs are flooding the adminstrators with feedback, including the comments you've raised. They're committed to making things better. We shall see.

Hi @gordongekko99 . I apologize for the delay, as I was out of office. The DTV UI thread should be back in one place again. I apologize for the frustration. As we launch this new platform there may be issues like this, but thank you for letting us know so we could get it resolved.
Thanks

Hi @gordongekko99. You can turn them off by going to the Profile Avatar>Profile Settings>Email & Notifications. You should see a list of choice that can be enabled or disabled, like:
New posts posted on topics that I follow
New badges earned
Mentions
Thanks
