Soon essentially none. The G2 is DirecTV MPEG-2 (SD only). DirecTV has been shutting down the MPEG-2 feeds since April 2019 (expected to be completed within this year, though no hard date for 100% completion known). Going forward we all need MPEG-4 (SD and HD capable) boxes and dishes.
Boxes that are SWM-only, which would be any "Genie" and the H25, cannot be used with the G2. Other boxes can be used temporarily, as not all areas have shutdown MPEG-2 just yet. Though if you have the Genie-2 (HS17) server tower you are forbidden from having anything but Clients, so is very unfriendly for RV setups.
Going forward you will need a SWM setup with a simple slimline dish on a sled/tripod mount, or the Winegard Trav'ler (specifically DirecTV model).

So is the winegard G2 obsolete now? I'm just asking because I saw a lady is selling one online for $35. Also I do still have an h24 along with my 44 for my main room. After all these years I still mainly take either one of them camping just for the recordings. Yes they still never stopped working even though for years and years they said it could stop anytime. But it hasn't yet. Anyway my main reason here is the original question... Are the G2s obsolete now Even for an h24? Thank you.

Here is the case. You will no longer be able to view your local channels with the G2, as local channels on the directv satellite at 101W (the only satellite that the G2 can receive) have been shut down since they were SD/MPEG-2 outdated broadcasts.
HOWEVER, you will still be able to receive the SD duplicates of channels ranging from 80 onward (disregarding the local channels). This should continue to work for the next couple years.
Your H24 receiver should work to receive the national channels (80 and onward) in standard definition using the Winegard G2, but you will NOT be able to view your local channels as local channels in standard-definition have been shut down on 101W.

Wow thank you very much for the quick response. I asked the same question on a different post but you can just ignore that one if you want. And as far as local channels go I barely ever turn them on at home anyway. I'm mainly thinking that it would be nice to watch a specific news channel (Don't want to get political on here) and the mornings or whenever we're taking a break from riding in the sand dunes or wherever we're riding... Again thanks for the info. And I've never owned a traveling receiver but I'm assuming that G2 would still have the technology to find the signal on its own I'm hoping.

Yes, the G2 can find the signal on it’s own as long as the dish is stationary.

G2 is essentially obsolete. Hence probably why she is selling for $35. The full extent of the MPEG-2/SD-only shutdown has been debated. Simply put, this is an HD world now. Many channels that are in both HD and SD are in MPEG-4.
Going forward you will need to get a slimline SWM dish on a tripod/sled mount that you manually aim or the Winegard Trav'ler.
Your H24 and I'll assume HR44 (would be rare to see H44 with anything but clients) will be fine as they are MPEG-4 boxes.

@Juniper
I had heard from Stuart Sweet over at Solid Signal that DIRECTV has no intent to shut down NATIONAL MPEG-2/SD content on 101 at the moment. As we know, local channels are already gone.

Right, but they will be sent in MPEG4.

It was supposed to a full MPEG-2 shutdown starting in April 2019 as they announced years before that. I wonder what the internal challenges were (besides the pandemic) that not only contributed to the delay by shifted to just MPEG-2 locals going out. Which is interesting because that is what the R22 was for as some areas (such as mine) went MPEG-4 locals many years ago.

I believe the H24 receivers will work fine with them. I have two H24-700 working on my Intellian I3 and a H24-100 working on my deck with a 18 round dish.

@Rarline
Any box starting H or HR would be fine as those are MPEG-4/HD capable.
However the I3 would expect to be an issue. As I understand it, from them only the s6HD would cover DirecTV's MPEG-4. A common issue with many of the RV/marine makers is most of their stuff only covers Dish SD/HD but SD-only for DirecTV.

AFAIK all SD in motion and SD dishes will still get the 101 MPEG4 signals.
