What happens when you try to use your wireless Mini Genies (Clients, not receivers)?
What are the models of each Client and the Genie receiver?
What status does the wireless video bridge (WVB) show?
Verify coax is finger tight in Genie and WVB. Reset the Genie, when completed the WVB, and finally the wireless Clients. Make sure reset is complete before moving to next in chain.
Wired is more reliable than wireless just by nature of the technology. May want to consider using next free upgrade to replace a Client with a HDDVR. No difference in monthly cost, but you get more capability (2 tuners, 500GB recording space), and more reliable since doesn't rely on the Genie to work (though still shares recordings). Just something to think about.
I am having the same issue, my main receiver is working fine, but my two mini genies are both flashing yellow, this issue started for me Sunday morning 5/3. I have reset the main receiver twice and nothing has happened
Verify coax is finger tight to all boxes (including the WVB if the Clients are wireless models). Reset order is Genie > WVB (if you have one) > Clients. Just verify reset is done before going to next in the chain.
If a simple reset doesn't fix it then do a full power cycle. That is unplugging power for up to a minute. Just like a regular reset you perform in the same order. The difference is that this clears any residual memory, including guide data, that may clear anything causing the issue. The Genie should have the guide info fully downloaded again within 24 hours.
After that if you still have a problem, more details please.
What are the models of each box?
Are you getting any error messages?
Are there any other problems with the main Genie, or any other receivers?
