reconnect multi room whole home DVR system

All units and cables were disconnected and not labeled at the time of disconnect.

I need to reconnect all cables to all DVRs and receivers including a SWM unit, the power module for the SWM, and setup Whole Home DVR.

I have two cables coming out of the wall where the SWM and PwrMod for the SWM are located. One cable coming out of the wall at all other locations.

The DVR where the two cables are located is an HR24-500. There is also an HR44-200, an H24-700 and a CS(1 or 4) 700.

I have tried several combinations at the location with the SWM but still cannot get the signal to get to any of the TVs

The tech said I was close with the hookup. Basically, if you refer to the drawing I uploaded, he reversed the two cables attaching to the Pwr Mod.

The "To SWM" port on the power inserter goes to the red power pass through port on the SWM splitter, the dish coax connects to the "in" single port on top, the rest of the coaxes are connected to the SWM splitter then you put the receivers in whatever room you want.  You can connect an Ethernet cable to the HR44 to provide the internet to all or connect it using WiFi.  Whole Home will be setup automatically with or without internet.

Thank you for your response.  I tried to reconnect the cables to the SWM and the HR24-500 but apparently, I have something misconfigured. I have attached a drawing of how the SWM and HR24-500 are currently connected.(not working) error 775

...and a CS(1 or 4) 700.

Definitely recheck that. Mini Genie Clients are C31, C41, etc. The -700 is what company made it.

Likely C41-700 but right a confirmation would be well appreciated.

I believe what you are calling a "SWM Mod" is actually a receiver deca and not needed for your setup. The cable going to the dish should be attached to the SWM side of the SWM power inserter and the cable going to the DVR to the IRD side of the power inserter. The cable going from the power inserter towards the dish must be attached to the power passing port on the splitter.

The receiver deca is likely either left over from a pre-HR24/H24 receiver or it was used as a broadband deca to connect your system to the internet. If it was used as a broadband deca it would have had its own power supply, a Cat5 connection to your router, and its own coax connection to a splitter.

That setup will only run the HR24 you need a SWM splitter to use the HR44 and the C whatever mini and the H24.

Thank you everyone who took the time to post here, but I have solicited a technician from Directv to come out and get all of this straight.  They are supposed to be out today between 8-12.

Thanks again

Gotcha. Essentially, the ‘POWER TO SWM’ was going to the HR24 and the ‘IRD’ port was going to the dish? That would have done it.
