I just had service installed yesterday and already am having issues with my child setting  up several recordings from his tv, How do I disable his dvr to just be a receiver ?

I'm able to play all of the recorded programs, but either they play for a less than a minute or "Error" pops up w/ no playback. This happens randomly as I attempt to play any/all of my recorded programs.

I set my DVR up and it did not register the double play feature. Now I am trying to record something and have to watch it. How do I turn the double play on after installation?
