How do I signup for the Outdoor chanel ?

This is weird. When I'm using the chanel guide, and I'm looking at what's on on another chanel, when i hit the back button, it goes to some other random chanel on the guide. I have to punch in the numbers to go back to where i was on the guide. Anyone else experience this? It's really annoying.

I want to record one chanel and watch another.  When I try to change the chanel from the one that is being recorded, it askes to keep recording and not change the chanel, stop and delete or stop and keep.

Hi, This has been an ever increasing problem that is picking up steam lately.  I know it is a pretty old receiver. Problems:1) All chanels on the chanel listing go missing, there is no shows displayed.2) Sometimes I can't go above any chanels above 200. Receiver Information:Back of receiver it says

We here in southern MN have a new fox chanel out of Mankato (chanel 13 on Directv). It was just added in the last few days and is NOT in HD. The TV station said Directv is having a band width isue and is woking on it. Diretv customer service has no info on this at all. We will now be forced to watch

I am unable to change the chanels on the receiver or the remote. The remote will not control any chanel function and the receiver is locked on on chanel. I have tried unpluging for 15 sec waiting and unpluging again wit no success.

I set my shows to record & when I go to watch them, it says that it’s recorded on a Chanel that I don’t have so my shows don’t record. I have deleted my recordings & then set them up again on the Chanel’s that I have & for some reason it keeps recording on the Chanel’s that I don’t have.

Every time I try to watch another program while my DVR is scheduled to record another program, I must switch to the scheduled recording. In other words, I can't view one program, while recording another. What could be the problem?
