No Chanel called HBO on demand

My mom lives in a assisted living facility. She is has direct TV and HBO is one of the channels provided. She gets a few of the HBO channels but the on demand is not there.

How can she view previous shows that aired a few weeks ago?

Most likely the system is not connected to the internet to receive On Demand and it is unknown if it can be connected, you have to check with the assisted living facility.

The only other place(s) to find HBO content is online or on HBOGo, which is the app.

I don't know how it works in facility so I doubt your mom has access to either of those.

If the facility has the boxes connected to internet (not metered or data capped), or will do so later, HBO On Demand is 1501. All On Demand channels are a 1000s version, such as SyFy on 244 has SyFy On Demand 1244.

Thanks for the info, however it's not available to her. She's just going to learn to view the programs as they are aired.

The same movies keep repeating and can be on different channels during the month. You can use the Guide and see what is out there for several weeks, which is a pain.

I did that with Showtime, when it was FREE a week+ago and set to record certain movies. Current Free STARZ, has nothing for me, FREE EPIX and HBO are coming up and will use the guide to see what movies might be of interest to set to record. The Guide can be pretty useful.
