If I cancel mly u verse home phone can I retain internet?

I am new to att uverse , is there a way access only the u300 plan on the guide. Its frustrarting finding out the show you think you want to watch is not available and juggleing the list, ipod and remote is dumb. So can I screen out all channels  I cant access and  not just add to favorites?

How can I see ONLY my favorites that I've checked? I don't want all the channels I don't get to show.

I used to be able to see what I have and make changes on the website (IE: add a sports package or drop HBO) but the add/remove channels link appears to be dead now and has been for quite some time. I have 6 tvs, and pay for 6 receivers, why is it that as advanced as AT&T is I can only have 4 receivers going at the same time or the 5th and 6th have to be on the same channel as another or watching a recording? Successfully installed the directv2pc app - audio/video works good too but I can only see the DVR and playlists but I can't get to the guide and watch regular TV. What am I missing? Windows 7 64-bit, Intel i7920, 9gb RAM

I have the U450 service on the power 45 tier. Do I have to be on Gigapower service to get the IPH-8010? If I can get one will I be able to record 6 channels at once or is that function only for Gigapower?
