I am AT&T customer trying to load DirecTV on my iPad & keep getting unknown error code

Direct tv app... was working fine. Two days ago I started getting the Unknown Error error message.   I have tried every solution offered, spent endless hours with customer service on phone and chat... any thoughts.   Cancelling service soon!!!  Frustrated.

I can watch up to about 10 minutes of a recording, and then I get the unknown output connector error. I usually have to close completely out of the application and run it again for it to play for any significant amount of time.Is there any debug or verbose mode available to see what's triggering it
