Random availability in apartment building

I am trying to get Uverse internet service.  I live in a condo building in Chicago, IL.  When I contacted customer service they told me that essentially, every unit in my 100 unit building can get UVerse except for MY unit.  The units directly to the left, right, and across the hall are all eligible

I received a refund of credit check in the amount of $50.11 . I went to a check cashing place because I don't have a bank account and when they tried to verify the check to cash it , it told the lady (JPMORGAN chase bank , n.a. ) funds from bank where unavailable. How do I get this check cashed?

Should we upgrade equipment?

Genie 2 picture freeze over a year right after installed

I've had the genie 2 installed over a year in my home in all this time the picture would freeze for 2-5 seconds and pickup in progress, direct TV service was out 3-4 times to check it out and the last time a few months ago the genie 2 was replaced a few months ago but the same problem was still happ

Part of The Menu is cut off of the screen

Hi. Part of the menu is cut off of the screen and i dont know how to fix it, and its really hard to navigate through On Demand. On the Guide its cuts off the channel name(like the 3-5 letter abreviation of the channel) and the time at the time is cut off to and i would really like to know how to fix

The battery left by the tech I am assuming is included in our package; and I am not going to be charged extra. I just called Directv about this, and they didn't have an answer. What is ON REPLAY when you look at the CC choices?  If you click it, you don't get CC.

MVR Update and Install Date

Northern VA, MRV upgrade ordered.  Cost $0 (went through retentions).  Install Date May 29th.  The wait is longer than i would have liked, but the price is right 🙂 What about everyone else?

Rebooting or restarting problems

Just got a replacement and it's doing the samething. I have been paying for their insurance since I started with them about 4 years. It's a plain dvr in my kids room. We also have 2 hd dvrS and a plain receiver in another room.
