Any type of grace period and not pay ETF?

So I've been having issues with comcast and got uverse internet for a 12 month contract. We still have comcast in the house since we live with other people and it's their service.
Well, after 5 months of hassle comcast FINALLY fixed the internet issue, while we just had AT&T uverse internet installed last Tuesday.
Someone is actually coming out tomorrow since they didn't set up a second line, despite me telling them twice that we still use comcast's service. They hooked the internet into the home phone line and it made the comcast phone crackle. In case they can resolve this (which if they can't and we can't have it installed where we want I can get out of my ETF, I WILL make sure I get out if it since I told them about this before they came out AND told the tech) is there any type of grace period I have to cancel and not get charged $180? Customer service is closed until Monday so I thought I'd ask on here. Thanks 🙂
