Buried service wire

My service wire is buried in my gravel driveway (makes it difficult to uncover the BSW).  My driveway crosses a creek between the house and the cable along the street.  The culvert which carries the creek under my driveway has failed and my driveway has washed out twice since Christmas eve.  Repairs requires the conplete excavation and removal of the failed pipe and the placement of 2 new pipes and the construction of a headwall.  Excavation will be completed using a trackhoe.  While effort will be made to try not to damage the service wire (we will have it located in advance) I think the odds are it will be cut.  Is it possible to have a new wire placed on top of the ground and then buried once construction is complete of to splice is a piece of wire to clear construction which would then be placed behind the headwall when construction is complete.  I need to complete the repairs before our next big rain it at all possible.  The contractor is ready if we can resolve the buried wire conclict.  Who can I call to work with me on this?

Thanks

If customer care can not help, ask to have a tech scheduled for a visit and they can lay a temp wire. Alot of techs carrys BSW on their truck or can lay arieal temp and then schedule a buried line to be installed once work is complete. BSW is gel filled to help prevent water penetration and should not be spliced any where. If they can only schedule a new line be buried once work is complete, you might want to lay pvc in across the culvert so the new line can be fed through it when the contractor is on site.
