I wsant to discontinue my cable service and keep my intenet sevice. Im not working and cannot afford the cable sevice at the moment. please

Currently I'm not working and do not have any kind of income in right now. Haven't gotten any of the resourses to help me during this time. I would like to keep my internet service because I really need it. Can you discontinue the cable service and leave the internet service connected. In the near future when all of this is over and we are back to normal I can restart my cable service. But right now I'm barley making it. What do I need to do. Please respond asap thanks.
