You have 4 streams to watch or record so if you're watching three you'll have one to DVR.
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

To make it "official" you can always check your "profile". Click the following sequence on you remote:
menu->options->system->system information->system resources (streams, bandwidth cap)
See this about the number of streams.

Users be aware we live in Biloxi ms and att technicians connected apartments xxxx supposedly a police officer) apt xxxx a casino’s van driver(about 80 years old), xxxx a middle aged Air Force nurse, xxxx an unemployed drug dealer and xxxx and xxxx both military to our wife and receiver and allowed these people to watch us in the privacy of our home without our knowledge nor consent and even live streamed it on the internet and this is only what e know so far. Yes there is a camera in the left front corner of your receiver that anyone with access to your WiFi security code can and will access and have full control of it do as they please. Att went as far as making our administrative page unsecured which didn’t matter since they gave full access to these people to get in there on their own any how. If you’re in Biloxi stay awa from att unless you’re one of the trash whom live by hacking from others, in that case you are in heaven! [edited for privacy – please do not post personal information]

@Kindol Have you tried taping a piece of tin foil over the camera? Perhaps that would block access.
Edit after pondering: What makes you so important that AT&T is allowing, perhaps encouraging, others to hack your modem and receiver? You've stated more than once that AT&T is in on it. You must be a really important person for AT&T to single you out.

My tv volume worked for 4 days now it doesn’t. The mute button is off, is there a button on the remote I may have accidentally pushed or a button I need to push to recover the volume

my chromecast device creates its own temporary hot spot network for some strange reason. That didn't used to happen.
