HDMI switch

I only have 1 input that works on my tv. Would like to connect a HDM1 switch so I can use the blue ray player and to access prime. Videos. How do you connect a switch with the  Uverse receiver?

I have a TV with one HDMI Port.  What I have done is connect the TV to the cable box with component cables and connect the HDMI switch to the TV HDMI port.  Connect all other devices to the HDMI port and everything works fine.  Any devices I have like a blue ray which has WIFI abilities I use WIFI.  When choosing a switch you have to decide how many HDMI ports you need.  I have seen switches up to 16 ports.  I do not know if you can connect another switch to the switch and run a chain like that.  I recommend getting a switch that has extra ports that you do not need at this time.  You just have to remember to change the port on the switch to match the input.  I have a simple switch which I have to physically change the port.  I got it from Walmart for 35.00.  Check out Amazon and see what they have to offer and what features they have and the price and then decide what will work for you.

So possibly this is not a good solution for me. I have 2 inputs on my TV. I had the Blue Ray hooked up through HDM1 and the TV through HDM2. Unfortunately the 2nd input broke so I'm trying to find away to run them all through HDM1. The switch I bought has 4 inputs & 1 output. Any help would be appreciated.
