Haven't they had a year to work out the bugs? AT&T I mean.

Yeah they do.. .But its different if they will test it on the actual mass itself. I mean, with alot of people now having Phase 3 in Austin, someone is bound to report an error or "bug" whether a big or small one that escaped AT&T when they are just self-testing it during the better part of last year.

But since we haven't receive any serious problems with Phase 2 it means that the update is a great success! Its a good news, if all goes well the update will be cascaded soon to all of the states.

There seems to be some reports with Media Share capability though... Some little kinks. :smileywink:

PC   You have Austin testing Phase 3 already. The joke is as soon as Phase 2 is released some posters will be complaining about Phase 3 not being out. :smileyvery-happy:

Got it in San Antonio, everything seems good.  Couple of things I've noticed, based off what I've read on the austin threads -

1.  No mediashare beta, at this time

2.  I don't have the 'digita surround sound' option - have optical out, but haven't tried the reciever yet to see if 5.1 is being sent.  Might take some time for that option to show up, per the austin discussions

Got it in gurnee, IL, last night.  Bummed that the media share beta is not in there, but no big deal at the moment.  Didn't have a chance to play with it before leaving for work this morning.

I'm in North Richland Hills, TX and got the update and also do not have the "digital surround" option.  My receiver says PCM for audio (I'm using optical audio cable) and before it would say Dolby Digital 3/21 when I was getting 5.1.  So, hopefully that sound option will show up soon!
