"Content is unavailable at the moment. Please try again." on my Samsung Smart TV.

My Samsung QN85AA 55 inch Smart TV was purchased new Feb, 2022. In addition to DirecTV Stream, I have installed and currently use PBS, Amazon Prime, Amazon Music, ESPN, YouTube and some others off and on along the way.

I've been using DirecTV since Sep, 2023. In addition to my Samsung TV I access DirecTV on my Android phone, an Amazon Firestick plugged into an older TV, and via browser on my PC. I must say that the Samsung DirecTV App is by far the least reliable/robust of these apps.  It seems to easily get confused if there's any sort of network interruption/hiccup. It is often necessary for me to turn the TV off/on, or unplug/plugin the TV, or restart my modem/router to restore the Samsung DirecTV streaming in particular, and it often asks me to reenter my login credentials like it doesn't have them stored somewhere. At any rate, I've always been able to recover one way or another ... until today.

DirecTV was working fine this AM but this afternoon there is a failure that I am unable to recover from. Every time I start DirecTV it asks me to sign in, spins a moment (presumably processing my credentials) and then presents this message...

The TV is connected to the internet and all the other apps on my Samsung Smart TV work fine. DirecTV works fine on the other devices I mentioned. I've done all of the following to no avail...

Turned the TV off/on.
Unplugged/plugged in the TV.

Restarted my modem and router.

Uninstalled/(re)installed the DirecTV app.

Two questions...

  1. Any advice/fixes? ... hoping no one tells me to do a factory reset of the TV, at least not unless they've tried it and know it'll fix the problem.
  2. Who owns the Samsung DirecTV app ... Samsung or DirecTV?

Hmmm.  OK.  I had checked the directv.com outage interface before posting here and it reported that there were no outages. Also the other outages mentioned in this forum seemed to be specific to satellite directv and seemed specific to the malfunction of the guide feature.

My streaming service is working now.

Is there a central location for known outage reporting?
