Be able to use Direct TV in husband's office
The TV has been moved to an outer wall of my husband's office, but there is no hook-up for Direct TV nearby. How can that be fixed, so he can watch TV in that room?

If there is no hookup, then you call DirecTV and request a receiver relocate. They will need to schedule a tech to run the coax to that room.
As I recall a receiver relocate is $49.00. But if you are due for a free upgrade, then depends on your setup on which option to order when you call them. What are the models of each box you have?

Thanks for such a quick response. I just joined the Forum this afternoon and asked the question when I couldn't find out online and after waiting over 40 minutes on the phone to reach someone before I gave up. I just checked one of the boxes, manufactured in China on 05/11/16, model HR54--700.

HR54 is the 3rd generation Genie. As that is the most capable HDDVR (5 tuners, 1TB hard drive), usually that one you want to stay put in the room that gets used the most by multiple people (such as family/living room).
If any of the other boxes are not an HDDVR model (HRxx), but a HD non-DVR (Hxx) or Mini Genie Client (Cxx) then I would consider an upgrade if you have a free one. More capability with no difference in monthly cost, and save yourself the cost of a normal relocate.
Hold times are high for them these days. Short staffing from Covid restrictions, plus those that took time off (or called in "sick") for the holidays. We'll all be glad when everything starts returning to normal.
