DirecTV App no longer working

My DirecTV app suddenly stopped working. I haven't changed my username or password. I've rebooted my Genie, uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times without resolution. Is there another solution available?

Define "stopped working".  Error messages?  Exact symptoms?

What Genie DVR model number?

What device is the App installed on?  Operating system?

I receive a message stating "Login Failed. Error 100001 - Sorry, something went wrong. Please try again later.
I haven't changed my password and used to be able to login into the app then all of a sudden I couldn't and would instead receive this error message.

I've had this same issue for a few months now. Very frustrating!! The app worked fine for a long time. A few years at least and then all the sudden I cant log in. I cant seem to get any help. What's up?
