DirecTV app

Does anyone else need to type in the IP address for the receiver each time the app is opened?

To clarify there is no "job" that someone is volunteering for. This is a public customer to customer forum. We try to help each other out, but this is our personal time (and a hobby for some).

Interesting find today, I downloaded the direct tv app for business from apple store and it did work and found my receivers. Only issue is it doesn’t have the ability to go to your list of recorded shows. But why does this app work and the other one doesn’t and they are from the same manufacturer

Business accounts are not allowed to record programs so of course the business app will not find recordings.
