DirecTv pause banner overlaps Sports show's score banner ...

While watching most sports games, there is a banner either at the top or bottom of the screen that shows information like the score, quarter of play, time remaining in the game, etc.  If I press Pause on my remote to pause a game to check the score or time left, a DIRECTV banner displays at the bottom of the screen directly over the network banner that I was wanting to see. I then have to press the Exit key to remove the DIRECTV banner to see underneath it. It would be very helpful to have an option available to dictate whether the DIRECTV "banner" is at the top or at the bottom of the screen display, depending on whether the network banner is on the top or on the bottom. Thanks for any help.
