Dish’s turn with Tegna
Anyone remember Directv’s contract dispute with Tegna late last year? I definitely do mainly because I never got the $20 credit Directv promised. Apparently it is now Dish’s turn. My local Tegna owned station is running a crawler telling Dish customers they may lose the station tonight. For anyone that still thinks this stuff only happens to Directv, nope.

These contract disputes are really getting out of hand. Congress and the FCC need to fix this. Local station owners are already way over-compensated for signals that are allowed to use our public airwaves for FREE.

I laugh at those who dropped DirecTV for Dish because of Tegna. They were warned and can only blame their own stubbornness and lack of critical thinking for their situation.
Though I also had the missing $20 from accepting the one-time offer. Money itself is not hurting my finances, but that it was a proper promise (from my account online, not a verbal promise by an agent or 3rd party that may not have been valid).
