Eagles Game

how can I watch the Playoff Games on NBC. I pay AT&T for this network. Why should I have to buy an antenna or other provider to watch what I already pay for. This is not right. AT&T should have Temporary Firesticks or indoor Antennas readidly available for such issues. We pay $100-$200 a month and the one thing that we want watch is taken away. AT&T can blame Hearst but we customers pay AT&T

But Hearst is who pulled your local channel from Directv. The game should be available to stream via nfl.com.

I find it amazing, this just shows how little these corporations care about consumers. If I end up missing any playoff games, goodbye Direct TV

I’ve been a Costumer since it was Primestar 30 Years ago. I have it cause I love Sports. This is a(Edited per community guidelines)olutely unacceptable whoever is to Blame. I found out about it by a little post during the news on NBC. All I know is AT&T makes sure they get their $200 from me to the day each month but now I cannot even get what I pay for. If you have an HR44/54 Genie you maybe able to get an LCC to add the local OTA channels to the guide it comes with a flat antenna that may work. Call/chat with DTV.

Folks complain when local station owners pull their channels from providers like DirecTV demanding more money.

And folks complain that their su(Edited per community guidelines)cription rates are too high.

So what are service providers like Dish, Comcast and DirecTV to do?

Here's a suggestion. File a complaint with the FCC. Ask that the FCC allow service providers to deliver another network station instead. That would stop this (Edited per community guidelines) in a heartbeat. After all, these are FREE over-the-air TV stations. Why should TV providers have to pay them anything?

DirecTV pays Hearst for their channels. Hearts pulls the feed to raise costs. If that succeeds then our bills go up that much higher during the next rate adjustment.

The package cost is the same for everyone regardless of how many locals you get. There is no guarantee of any specific channel for any length of time. If not a single local were provided, then you would be provided a no-locals version of the package at a lower cost.

Most of us do not go to pay TV for our free locals. So use a regular antenna in the meantime. If you have a 2nd or 3rd generation Genie (HR44/HR54), you could call DirecTV and see if they are offering the Local Channel Connector (LCC) kit for the negotiation. Per wasn't nationally launched yet and offered during the prior Nexstar negotiations, they may be low on stock but might be worth a shot.
