Free movie channels during this time

You would think Direct TV owned by AT&T would have free movie channels during this time. That would be really nice of them especially with everyone at home... As much money as those companies make you would think they would. It's not like they need 100 workers to flip that switch... I noticed they are offering some movie channels if you have U-verse TV....

We’ll kick things off by providing an extended complimentary preview of SHOWTIME for our DIRECTV and U-verse customers starting March 20 until March 26 (if SHOWTIME isn’t part of their current video package). Starting March 26-April 2, DIRECTV and U-verse customers will get a complimentary preview of Starz. In the coming weeks, we’ll offer additional previews of premium channels, while also expanding to include our AT&T TV and AT&T TV NOW customers:

EPIX: 4/2-4/16

HBO and Cinemax: 4/17-4/20

So DirecTV and U-Verse started with the free channels and it expanded to their other platforms as well.

Well, Juniper maybe you should come check out my TV, my bill, my package before you pop off with such a crazy answer .. I have not had free movie channels in the last 30 days, I do read and have been to the website. The only free offer at this time is for U-verse TV's. My bill does not match anything on the website except the sports regional fee that is on every package as a side note, again I did research and read what was there.
I am quite capable of reading and comprehending the information is not on the website. I can screenshot and send to you if you need to see it so maybe the next time you decide to be a (Edited per community guidelines) you will have the correct information and not just be throwing things out there. I'm on here for help, which is what I read and understood this forum to be. Sounds like you need a nap or something because you sure aren't very kind and helpful. May God bless you and keep you safe.

@Canaansnana free premium channels have been offered since 3/20 click the orange box at the top of this page. It’s not going to be posted on th normal web page is in th covid 19 update page

Was not a crazy answer. Was literally the official announcement copied from their Covid-19 page. Has nothing to do with your bill or package as these channels are opened for everybody. Certainly my household has been enjoying the additional channels on DirecTV.

If you have a favorites list set you have to unhide the specific channels.

Fact is the free channels have been, and still are, applying for DirecTV. If they are not working for you then some things to check so you get the free content like everybody else.
