FYI

I've lost the FYI channel 266, does anyone know why?

Couldn't guess without any info.

What happens when you try going to the channel?

What model boxes?

Does each box have the problem?

Name of programming package?

Have you tried a red button reset or any other troubleshooting at all?

Nothing has changed in programming since I watched it earlier today. The channel number (266) is just missing from the lineup....Ive always had it, just wondering if it had been removed or something 🤔🤷‍♀️

No announcement of the channel being removed, and channel just fine here. Try resetting the box and verifying your favorites list. Otherwise, please post more info about what is going on and details about equipment and package.

When I go to all channels 266 is greyed out in the guide.

they need stop showing commercials bc after every set of commercials shipping wars should come back on but channel goes silent screen goes black and miss half every episode. and we pay for this service?

When did you start experiencing this issue? Do you have this issue with any other channels/show? 

 

 

We recommend refreshing your DIRECTV channels and service. This will refresh and reauthorizing your receiver.

If commercials were gone, then networks would charge TV providers that much more which would result in higher bills for us customers. Commercials will not go away.

 

However if screen goes blank for half the episode, that is a technical issue.

 

What model boxes?

Channel this happens on? (number as that shows regular or On Demand)

Does this happen on all TVs or just certain ones?

 

Verify coax is finger tight and then try a red button reset. If needed you can also pull power for a minute which would clear residual memory as well as guide data (downloaded again within 24 hours). As a double check refresh service authorizations as well ( www.directv.com/refresh )
