Yes. Download the directv app on those devices and login with your online account credentials to enjoy the live stream of HGTV as well as the on demand content available. 

I am not stupid.  I have done that a few times on IPad, Roku and PC.  You cannot get HGTV on those apps.  I have Ultimate package on my satellite.   

I never suggested you are stupid at all. Not sure how this response correlates to your original question. It was whether you can watch HGTV. My response is YES, because, since HGTV is a TV EVERYWHERE channel able to be streamed with a TV provider login, it is streamable on both the HGTV app as well as the DIRECTV app. If you are not seeing it, consult DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) to have them check out your online account.

Yes you it is supposed to be available. And that is through either the DirecTV app or HGTV's individual app (using DirecTV credentials).

Which app are you trying? (HGTV, old DirecTV standalone app, or new DirecTV/DIRECTV STREAM app)

Are you making sure to select DirecTV as the provider and not DIRECTV STREAM or AT&T?

What happens when you try watch HGTV? (symptoms, error message, etc.)

Are you connecting to internet in the United States?

I have spent 10 hours on the phone with Directv horrible foreign support.  All they keep saying is “some channels are not allowed to be watched on Ipad or Roku”

back to my original question.  Are others able to watch HGTV on their streaming devices?   I have the Ultimate pack on my Satellite.

New Directv App on Ipad, Roku and PC in New Jersey

Logging into the Directtv not stream.

After I log in I only can see about 35 really unpopular channels. I cannot see

HGTV, CNN, MSNBC, Food network, Discovery, etc. I should have 100's of channels available
