network channels

i have refreshed my TV multiple times to capture network channels that are included in my package.

My receivers are not updating to include the network channels. What is my next step?

What is the exact name of your package?

Which channels are missing?

What happens when you try to watch them?

Model of boxes?

i have Directv Choice Standard. This package contains NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX. these channels are located between channels 1 and 70. My channels start on 1 and jump to 70. No worries, apparently i need to update my receivers if i wish to view them. Thank you for responding.

Those would be local channels, something that is included in all packages (if they are in your area). They are not the same for everyone, so first check www.directv.com/locals for the exact ones you should be receiving.

You mention needing to update your receivers. The only time that would be true is if you have outdated MPEG-2 equipment and your locals have finished moving to MPEG-4 only. To avoid an unnecessary or unoptimized "update", what are the models of each box you have? There are upgrade and MPEG swap options, but with the increased outsourcing and newer AT&T agents, many of them don't go over what would be best for your personal legacy setup. So best to get guidance before making any equipment changes.

Thanks @Juniper for that information. We're here if you need us @Ullmann. Thanks for choosing AT&T.
